After a successful corporate career that led her to become the Global CFO of Shell
Aviation in her mid-thirties, Marianne decided to dedicate her know-how, expertise and international networks to the greater good.

In 2014, she started her own investment firm to initiate and support ambitious deeptech ventures actively contributing to UN sustainable development goals.
A very hands-on investor, Marianne looks after a portfolio of over 10 start-ups all over
Europe. In recent years specifically she acted as a growth catalyst for high potential
food tech and space start-ups in Europe, Israel and the US.

Recognized for unlocking ideas and acting as a powerful bridge between
entrepreneurship and the Corporate and Investment worlds, Marianne believes value
creation is based on team’s ability to think differently, communicate and transform.
Marianne sits on the investment committees of Life Science fund and on the board of
a couple of international industrial start-ups. She is the co-founder of T1ST an earlystage venture capital fund looking to accelerate scaling of industrial-transitions
focused technologies.

Sylvia, our moderator for this event and Senior Director of Marketing at OneStream Software is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in marketing, enterprise software and leadership. Her background includes living and working in corporate enterprise in various countries in Europe, North America and Latin America, providing her with a unique global perspective and cultural awareness on building diverse and successful teams. Having earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and an MBA on Leadership and Strategy, she is passionate about elevating women in leadership and is currently a board member at the Women of OneStream group.

Maya thrives on complex transformation challenges and has a history of bringing innovation in technology and operating models across various industries. Starting out as a chemical engineer solving operational and technical challenges, Maya went on to complete an MBA and delve deeper into finance, business design and change.

Her path took her through numerous technology-enabled transformations, from Finance to entire enterprise ones, acting as client-side advisor as well as leading as Transformation Director. Passionate about empowering female leaders in technology, Maya plays a significant role in PWC’s Women in Technology network, providing formal and informal career coaching and mentoring.

Working with a wide range of PE, private and public sector clients, Maya brings next generation leadership and innovation focus to the Finance functions today.
