Sepp Straka’s 2022-2023 season is off to a hot start as he finished runner up in the 2022 Sanderson Farms Championship. Sepp recently finished in 2nd place at the 2022 FedEx St. Jude Championship, and finished in 7th place in the 2022 FedExCup season standings. Earlier this season, Sepp earned his first career PGA TOUR victory at the 2022 Honda Classic, where he shot a tournament low 64 on Friday and had a clutch round of 66 on Sunday to come from five strokes down to win the tournament. The five-stroke deficit Sepp faced going into Sunday was the biggest in the tournament’s history, but Sepp was able to rewrite history and overcome that deficit on his way to his first ever victory. With this win, Sepp became the first Austrian to win a PGA TOUR event. Sepp has continued his stellar 2022 season, as he recently played in his first Masters (finished T-30) and finished tied for third place at the 2022 RBC Heritage at Hilton Head.
